Work Injury

On The Job – Work Injury
In Wisconsin, if you experience a work injury, you are entitled to see any doctor you wish. If your insurance company or your employer tries to tell you that you have to get treatment from a particular doctor, clinic or type of doctor, then they may be breaking the law. You have your choice of doctors and you may be entitled to workman’s compensation.
You can actually choose up to two doctors on your own (not including an initial emergency room visit). After that, all new doctors you see MUST be a referral from one of the doctors that you are already treating with, or a referral from the insurance company.
In Wisconsin, Chiropractors are considered primary care providers and you do NOT need a referral as long as you have not already been to two doctors of your own choosing.
We would be happy to help you with your work injury. If you have fallen, lifted something, been physically injured or have a repetitive use injury (like carpal tunnel) we can help you. We can handle both the Chiropractic and the Physical Therapy here at the same time so you don’t have to drive all over town to see multiple doctors.
